She explained, “This is co-parenting. This is how lucky I am to have 4 parents who respect each other, and know that at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is showing your children (Even ones that are 32 years old) how to treat people, and how to love your family, no matter how it came together.”
People who read the story applauded her parents’ decision to put their children first. Many of them were inspired to share their own stories of divorce and how rough the ride was for them, while others chimed in with co-parenting stories of their own. There were even calls for the family to go on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, as the famous comedian and talk-show host is often known to celebrate Good Samaritans on her show. This just goes to show that a simple act of kindness goes a long way.
